Building “Go Kits” & “Go Boxes” - Workshop/Training/Information
Fox Hunting Gear & Hunt Event - Workshop/Training/Information
Establish Flexnet Node in Region 4
Obtain and outfit EmComm trailer for ARES® and Public Service Communications
Identify at Least One Ham for Every EOC in Region 4 (request from CT DEMHS)
- Recruit Amateur Radio operators for Region 4 towns that don’t have state radios
Packet Station Setup in All Region 4 EOCs
ARES Region 4 Events – Social/Fun/Drill/Training/Meeting/“Coffee Break”
ARES & General Operating Q&A Bulletin Board or Web Forum
Contact/Inform All 1500 Hams in Region 4 about ARES – U.S. Mail/Email/PSA
- Obtain mailing labels from ARRL for League members in Region 4
Make better use of HF EmComm capabilities, including NVIS antennas
Improve ARES “outreach” to local Ham Radio clubs & their members
Provide EmComm training opportunities for hams affiliated with Red Cross
Explore HF digital/packet modes for handling EmComm message traffic
Recruit and appoint more Official Emergency Stations (OES)

Setup and run a Recon Rally/Scavenger Hunt for Region 4 North

Setup new Amateur Radio station at CT DEHMS Region 4 Headquarters
